孤独是一个限定，一个开放的场域，远比自身更加丰富，尤其在当下的堵市景观中，孤独成了固定的命题，每个人都会有被抛弃和疏离的孤独感。
《方形浴室》灵感来源于让·菲利普·图森的小说《浴室》，讲述封闭的空间中一对男女若即若离，但终因为无法离开内心的孤独，最后在各自心中留下了一个影子。影像简化人物对白，克制演员的表演，模糊时间和叙事，用几乎静止的镜头，将不可言说的情绪通过物体和空间的诗意来传达，使得影像游离在内在和外部世界的边界，探索一种摄影式的镜头语言。

Loneliness, the restraint, is an open space, far richer than itself. Everyone has the abandoned and distant loneliness.
Jean-Philippe Toussaint’s The Bathroom inspires this movie. In spite of the lukewarm relationship between the couple, they still drift apart in a closed space due to the loneliness deep in their heart. Eventually, this casts the shadow over them. I tried to simplify the conversations, contain the actors’ performance, and blurs timeline, and narrative .Using almost still shots, I express my hidden emotion through articles and the poetic space. Making the image wandering between the boundaries of the inner and outside world, I am exploring a camera language.
